Hi I'm Meg.

A country girl at heart, I love capturing rugged Australian landscapes and botanical still life. I paint from my home studio in Brisbane, surrounded by the bush and garden. 

My passion for painting has been a constant in my life, but it wasn't until late 2021 that I embraced it more seriously. I'm thrilled to share something that brings me immense joy!

​I am a self-taught artist and paint still life arrangements of things found in my garden - native flowers and fruits paired with interesting ceramics and fabrics. I also paint landscapes inspired by rural Australia. I paint with acrylic on canvas and layer colours, often painting thickly, to create dimension and texture.

Whilst I still teach part-time, I have been lucky enough to exhibit and sell my work through various art shows, a number of galleries and various stockists, as well as commissions and via my website and Instagram.
